Isolation is the perfect time to reconnect and slow down. It is a time where we can really intentionally choose to put ourselves first, to grow and to build deeper self-care practices that will help us to know and love ourselves more fully. There is no greater time than the present to do all the wholesome things we never usually have or make time for.

 

Here is a list of ideas for things to try while at home:

 

  1. Create an altar

Of a morning it is so nice to start your day with setting an intention and giving gratitude. What better place to do this than at an altar you have made for yourself.

Take some time to collect little bits and pieces around your house that mean something to you. It may be art, crystals, a Yoni egg, oils, flowers and so on. It is completely personal and up to you what you choose to put on your altar. There is no right or wrong. An altar is a place of beauty that gives reverence to life, god and yourself.   1. Life journaling

An overview of your life so far. Start from childhood, what do you remember, what is still holding energy for you there? What patterns did you learn? Who were your friends? An enquiry exercise to really get to know yourself on a deeper level and to heal and understand things that perhaps have been forgotten.

 

  1. Dance, Yoga + Movement

Keep your energy moving by moving your physical body on a daily basis. A great way to flush emotions and blocked chi.

 

  1. Meditate

Bringing calm and still to the mind and body during this time is extremely important. Find your centre and let yourself hang out there for a while. Trust us, it feels amazing.

 

  1. Read the books you have been wanting to read

  1. Start a creative project

 

Sing, make art, make music. You know that thing you have always wanted to learn or do? Now is the time!

  1. Have a bath

Light some candles, fill the water with oils and loving intentions.

 

  1. Yoni gazing ritual

Have you taken the time to really know your Yoni? This is a really simple tool to become more connected with her and your anatomy.

 

Set up a comfy spot with cushions, candles, music, whatever you need to feel good. Grab a mirror and place it between your legs so you can see your Vagina (Yoni).

 

Close your eyes, come into your body. Connect to your heart and take some deep breathes down into your womb and vagina. You might like to apply some heart oil to your heart area to help her open. Let your body and vagina know you are here to honour her and truly see her in all of her beauty. Take your time with this. When you are ready slowly open your eyes and gaze at her in the mirror.

 

Allow whatever is there to be there, no agenda just being present with her. Hunt for her beauty, breathing into your heart and sending her appreciation. Allow this to continue in whatever way feels right for you. When it feels complete thanking your body and Yoni.

Set the mood, light candles, put on your favourite music that makes you feel relaxed and open to receiving self touch, love and adoration.

 

Step 3:

 

Set an intention, write it down, say it out loud, mediate on it. Whatever works for you.

 

Step 4:

Sit and wait until your feminine feeling guides your hands and body. It doesn’t have to be sexual, it may just be gently caressing your face or stretching your beautiful body in different ways to relax her. Surrender and trust in your own divine being and the wisdom she holds. Maybe it’s awkward, that’s okay too, just allow whatever comes up to be there and love that part of you.

 

Step 5:

Give yourself time to fully surrender into the experience. Love yourself how you would want a lover to love you.

 

Step 6:

Once you feel the ritual is complete lie on your back. Gently cup your Yoni and heart and let all the energy you have cultivated circulate through your body. Give yourself permission to lie there as long as you need.

You may like to journal after this experience. We also recommend scheduling some time each week to deepen this self-pleasure practice. The more we connect to ourselves, the more layers we can peel off and the more pleasure we can hold in our bodies.
